Hello!
I'm Melanie, the designer behind Mommel Design. Originally from Munich in Germany, I now live in central Italy. I worked for many years as an architectural draftswoman before discovering my passion for graphic and surface pattern design. However I never gave up my love for geometry, which is also reflected in my current designs, and every now and then I still design houses just for fun.
I love trying to capture the beauty of the little details of everyday life and nature to create my designs. My aim is to bring joy and good vibes to your homes through fabric and other products.
When I'm not working you can find me reading some mystery books, studying (I have a passion for learning new things) or taking long walks with my dog Pepe to find inspiration.
